- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix until smooth.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool on wire racks before serving.
