- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly. If large, cut them in half.
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the potatoes until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain well.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream; gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Gently fold the drained potatoes into the sauce until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
