- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add heavy cream and chicken broth; stir continuously.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and allow it to simmer in the sauce for an additional few minutes before serving.
