- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp mango chutney
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ tsp garlic powder or chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients, slice the bread and cheese, and have the chutney ready.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice butter-side down in the pan.
- Layer with cheese and spoon on chutney before topping with the second slice, butter-side up.
- Grill until golden brown (3-4 minutes), then flip and cook until both sides are crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a minute, slice in half, and serve warm with extra chutney on the side.
