- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures; stir until just incorporated to avoid overmixing.
- Chill the dough for one hour in the refrigerator.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cracked on top but still soft inside.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
