- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden at the edges but still soft in the center.
- Allow cooling on wire racks before enjoying.
