- 500g fresh carrots
- 4 cups full-fat milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- Chopped nuts (almonds or cashews)
- Raisins
Instructions
- Grate the fresh carrots and set aside.
- In a large pan, melt ghee over medium heat. Add grated carrots and sauté for 10-15 minutes until tender.
- Pour in the milk and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
- Stir in sugar and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Add cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins; mix well.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra nuts if desired.
