Instructions

- In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets; add sprinkles if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
