- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat as needed.
- Sprinkle in taco seasoning and add ½ cup of water. Stir well and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes until thickened.
- Warm tortillas on another pan over low heat for about one minute on each side until soft.
- Assemble tacos by spooning seasoned beef into warm tortillas and topping with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
- Add optional toppings like avocado slices or sour cream, and serve immediately.
