- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Lightly oil the grill grates. Cook meatballs on the grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, brush each meatball with barbecue sauce and allow them to caramelize.
- Once cooked (internal temperature of at least 160°F), remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
