  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grates. Cook meatballs on the grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  5. In the last few minutes of cooking, brush each meatball with barbecue sauce and allow them to caramelize.
  6. Once cooked (internal temperature of at least 160°F), remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
