Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- In another bowl, cream together melted butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- If desired, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
