- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and grated apples until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan three-quarters full with batter and sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and springy to touch. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
