- 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 leaves leafy lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 sturdy burger buns (brioche or pretzel rolls)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into four patties, creating an indentation in each.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and reserve drippings.
- Grill or pan-fry patties in the same skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese during the last minute to melt.
- Assemble burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with crispy bacon, lettuce, sliced tomato, and any additional toppings you desire.
- Serve immediately with fries or onion rings.
