- 2 ounces hot water (175°F/80°C)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- Sweetener to taste (honey, agave syrup, or sugar)
Instructions
- Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
- Pour 2 ounces of hot water over the matcha and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
- In a separate saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until steaming (do not boil). Use a frother if desired for extra foam.
- Pour the whisked matcha into your favorite mug and slowly add the steamed milk while stirring gently.
- Sweeten to taste with your chosen sweetener and enjoy!
