Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye Steak
- 8 oz Fettuccine or Penne Pasta
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley or Basil, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather and prep all ingredients: chop garlic and herbs, grate cheese.
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, season steak with salt and pepper. Sear for about 4 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Let rest before slicing.
- Lower heat and sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Add heavy cream and half of the reserved pasta water; mix in Parmesan until smooth.
- Slice the steak against the grain and add it to the sauce along with cooked pasta. Toss to combine, adding more reserved water if needed for creaminess.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese and fresh herbs.
