Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving half a cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add crumbled Italian sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Gradually pour in heavy cream while stirring. Bring to a simmer, then add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Toss cooked fettuccine into the skillet with the sauce; mix well, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnishing with chopped parsley for freshness.
