Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in cocoa powder and sugar until combined.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time, mixing well. Fold in flour gently.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sour cream and sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla and eggs until blended.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan, add dollops of cheesecake mixture, then top with remaining brownie batter and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set around edges; center may jiggle slightly.
  7. Let cool before slicing into squares.
