- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and butter together in short bursts, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until fully combined.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg blend while whisking continuously. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Fold in chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust and bake for 50-60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Allow to cool before slicing.
