Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and a splash of water (about 1/4 cup). Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- While the meat simmers, warm tortillas in another skillet for about one minute on each side.
- Assemble tacos by placing seasoned beef in tortillas and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
- Serve immediately with salsa or sour cream.
