- 1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms (cremini or button), sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (450°F/232°C) and clean the grates.
- Season both sides of the beef steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting for doneness preference.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and sliced mushrooms until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in beef broth and let simmer for a few minutes. Add heavy cream and stir until thickened.
- Serve the grilled steak topped with mushroom sauce.
