Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry mixture; stir gently until just combined (do not over-mix).
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the skillet; cook until bubbles form on top (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with syrup and toppings of your choice.
