Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and beef broth; mix well.
- Let the chili simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
- Incorporate the kidney beans and black beans; cook for an additional 10 minutes.
