Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash the bell peppers, cut off the tops, and remove seeds.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions until translucent. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Stir in cooked rice and half of the tomato sauce until well combined.
- Stuff each pepper with the meat-rice mixture and place them upright in a baking dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over each pepper, cover with foil, and bake for 30-35 minutes until tender.
