- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix chia seeds, cocoa powder, and salt until well blended.
- Add your milk of choice, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
- Before serving, stir well to achieve an even texture. Adjust consistency with more milk if desired.
- Top with fresh berries, nuts, or shredded coconut before enjoying.
