- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup halal-certified barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 soft hamburger buns
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for about 3 minutes until translucent.
- Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until fully browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Lower the heat and stir in ketchup, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- While the mixture simmers, toast the hamburger buns in another skillet or oven until warm and slightly crispy.
- Spoon the meat mixture generously onto each bun and serve with optional toppings like pickles or coleslaw.
