Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and bell pepper and mincing the garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until translucent (3-4 minutes).
- Increase heat slightly and add ground beef; cook until browned (6-8 minutes), breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in minced garlic and spices; cook for an additional minute.
- Mix in rinsed rice and pour in beef broth; bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover tightly, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice absorbs the liquid completely. Fluff with a fork before serving.
