Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in white wine (if using) and let it simmer for one minute.
- Add shrimp; season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest before removing from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over pasta or with bread.
