- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz linguine pasta (fresh or dried)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping chicken into bite-sized pieces and mincing garlic.
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add chicken seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and smoked paprika; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in heavy cream, stir well while scraping up browned bits from the skillet, and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss in the cooked linguine along with the remaining butter; mix well, adding reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
