Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Slice the bread into thick pieces (about one inch).
- Dip each slice into the egg mixture, soaking for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter until bubbling.
- Cook each slice for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle warm maple syrup over the cooked French toast and serve immediately.
