Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Choose your cooking method: slow cooker on low for 6 hours or oven at 300°F (150°C) for 3 hours.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Combine sautéed vegetables with chicken breasts, BBQ sauce, and chicken broth in your cooking vessel.
- Cook until chicken is tender; then shred using two forks in its juices.
- Serve on buns or plates with additional sauce.
