Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the long-grain rice, toasting it for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a boil; then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
- Remove from heat, let sit covered for another 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork before serving.
