- 1 cup finely chopped nuts (pistachios or walnuts)
- 1 cup dried dates (finely chopped)
- Extra powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and softened butter until crumbly.
- Gradually add cold water until the dough forms a smooth consistency.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Combine chopped dates and nuts in another bowl for the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape small pieces of dough, place filling in the center, and seal like a gift.
- Bake on lined trays for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Dust with extra powdered sugar before serving.
