Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet; cook until browned and crumbly, draining excess fat.
  4. Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce; season with salt, pepper, and herbs of your choice.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper generously with the mixture. Top with shredded cheese if desired.
