Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out chilled dough and cut into desired shapes. Fry each piece for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
