- 1 unbaked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and eggs until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Place the unbaked pie crust in a pie dish and pour the filling mixture into it.
- Sprinkle pecan halves evenly over the filling.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until the filling is set and edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
