Instructions
- Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in flour. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Mix in shredded cheddar until melted.
- Combine cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce; season with salt and pepper.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly before forming into bite-sized balls.
- Roll each ball in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
