Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup tahini paste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground lamb, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into oval patties or skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
- Grill koftas for about 4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (internal temp of at least 160°F).
- While grilling, mix tahini paste with lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
- Serve koftas drizzled with tahini sauce and garnish with parsley.
