- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
- Zest of 2 key limes
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar until combined. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden brown; let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk egg yolks until thickened. Gradually add condensed milk, then stir in key lime juice and zest until well mixed.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow the pie to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least three hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled with whipped cream.
