- 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 small tortillas (flour or corn)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in taco seasoning and ½ cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes until well combined.
- Warm tortillas in another skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute on each side.
- Assemble tacos by spooning seasoned beef into tortillas and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
- Serve immediately with optional hot sauce for added spice.
