- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until pink (about 3-4 minutes). Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the cooked pasta with shrimp mixture in the skillet. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to help combine.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the top, toss with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
