- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until crumbly for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the sliced cabbage and soy sauce; stir-fry for about 5 minutes until cabbage softens but retains some crunch.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and add red pepper flakes if desired; mix well.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped scallions before serving hot over rice or noodles.
