- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 pita breads
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers)
Instructions
- Marinate chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and let marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat grill/oven: Heat to medium-high (400°F/200°C). Lightly oil grill or line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cook chicken: Grill or roast chicken until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temp), about 6-8 minutes per side on the grill or 25-30 minutes in the oven.
- Make sauce: Whisk together tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt until smooth; adjust consistency with water if needed.
- Assemble wraps: Slice rested chicken thinly against the grain. Place on pita with fresh veggies and drizzle with tahini sauce.
- Serve warm: Fold wraps tightly and enjoy immediately with extra sauce for dipping.
