- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices thinly sliced deli ham
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Lay them flat, layer with ham and Swiss cheese, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Dip each roll in beaten eggs, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
- Place rolled chicken seam-side down in the baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in heavy cream and garlic powder until smooth. Gradually whisk in Parmesan until creamy.
- Remove toothpicks from chicken, plate it, and drizzle with the creamy sauce before serving.
