- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then gently fold in the blueberries.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Top each scoop with a spoonful of blueberry cream cheese mixture and swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden around the edges. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
