Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves. Halve larger sprouts.
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
- Spread seasoned Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy; shake halfway through for even cooking.
- For extra flavor, add balsamic vinegar or Parmesan during the last five minutes of roasting.
