- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cornstarch
- Spices: Paprika, Garlic Powder, Salt
- Oil for Frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix buttermilk with salt and pepper. Submerge chicken breasts and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and spices until well combined.
- Remove marinated chicken from buttermilk and coat thoroughly with the flour mixture.
- In a deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering (about 350°F).
- Carefully add coated chicken to the hot oil without overcrowding. Fry each side for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place fried chicken on paper towels to drain excess oil before serving.
