- 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels.
- Submerge chicken in buttermilk and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
