Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sear the chicken for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Mix in grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and warm for another 2 minutes before serving.
