- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; sauté until golden brown and cooked through (about 6 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan until smooth.
- Combine drained pasta and broccoli with the sauce in the skillet, mixing gently to coat evenly.
- Serve topped with sliced chicken and extra sauce.
