- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 oz cream cheese (cubed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in cubed cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- Gradually whisk in heavy cream while simmering gently.
- Add freshly grated Parmesan, stirring until fully incorporated.
- Toss cooked fettuccine into the sauce, mixing well to coat. If too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
